The GROK’it frog, a green tree frog giving a thumbs up

What broke?
Or what are we building?

GROK’it finds what is actually wrong and the line to working. You do not need to know what the problem is.

Please don’t send passwords, security codes, financial account numbers, or other secrets.

The problem

You do not need to know what the problem is. That is the point. Most people arrive with a symptom. The symptom is where we start, not where we stop.

What 144 is for

Bring the problem. Show us what’s happening.

GROK’it will orient the problem, investigate what matters, test the likely line of failure, and give you the cleanest next road.

If the fix is genuinely small and can be handled cleanly during the diagnostic, we’ll usually just fix it.

If the problem needs real implementation, we’ll tell you exactly what that means before more work begins.

Paying

You pay after GROK’it has looked at the problem and confirmed we can help. Venmo or Zelle. No account, no app, nothing to sign up for. WuQi is how we write the receipt; 1 WuQi is US$1.

Under the Hood

GROK’it works in the open. Methods, articles, recipes and eventually code live here, so you can see how we think and do it yourself when you can.

The method

reality → problem → source → test → line → micro-lines → road → act

  1. Reality

What is actually happening, right now, observed. Not what should be happening, not what someone said is happening.

  2. Problem

Name the gap between reality and what you need, in one plain sentence.

  3. Source

Follow the symptom back to where it starts. The thing that broke is rarely the thing that shows it.

  4. Test

Prove the source. A small check that would come out differently if we were wrong.

  5. Line

The straight path from broken to working, drawn once the source is proven.

  6. Micro-lines

The line cut into steps small enough that each one can be done and checked on its own.

  7. Road

The steps in order, with what each needs: time, tools, access, money, or a person.

  8. Act

Walk the road. You, us, or both, but somebody moves.
